Strategic Analytics is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties
- Accounts payable: invoice coding; gathering proper approvals; submitting invoices to Corporate A/P; monthly AP accruals; follow-up on vendor payments. Tracking operational expenses as well as processing employee expense reports- domestic and international.
- Maintain documentation to track billable analyst hours and expenses; interact with Corporate billing dept at ISO to ensure proper invoicing of reimbursable costs
- Assist ISO Tax and Payroll departments in gathering documentation for tax and payroll filings; assist with pulling data for historical returns as necessary.
- Maintain project documentation and work with Technology to ensure all necessary forms are submitted to ISO to set up capital projects in PeopleSoft
- Prepare reports and analysis as requested by SA management – e.g. to analyze cost of sales by customer.
- Prepare invoices to former employees receiving COBRA benefits.
- Create PO requisitions for capital purchases
- Other duties as assigned/ad hoc information requests (e.g. pulling back-up for audits)
Qualifications
- Education: High school or equivalent; college degree or course work in business
administration/accounting preferred
- Prior human resources experience a plus.
- Relevant Skills: High proficiency with Microsoft Office products required (Excel in
particular); prior experience working in a general ledger systems such as PeopleSoft also
required; understanding of GAAP accounting (e.g. revenue recognition, accrual
accounting) strongly preferred.
- Must be a strong team player and work well others; strong communication skills (verbal
and written) highly preferred. Successful candidates will need to work well in a team
environment with evolving responsibilities.
- Role will be key in integration of Strategic Analytics accounting policies and procedures
into Interthinx.
